Jennie Vincow - Age 79. On June 28, 1984 Ramirez raped, stabbed, and murdered Vincow inside her own home in Glassell Park during a burglary. This was the first of Ramirez’s murders.

Vincent and Maxine Zazzara - Aged 64 and 44. On March 27, 1985 Vincent Zazzara was shot to death while his wife Maxine was brutally stabbed and mutilated.

Max and Lela Kneiding - Aged 68 and 66. On July 20, 1985 Ramirez entered their house in Glendale, shot both of them in their sleep, and mutilated them after. Max’s head was nearly decapitated.

Ramirez’s signature attack method was to break into a couple’s home, murder the husband, rape and murder the wife, then steal possessions from the victim's’ house.
